Scrum Master

For one of our clients in the Brussels region, we are looking for an experienced Scrum Master who helps teams excel in delivery, governance, and quality within a structured Agile environment.

Are you a Scrum Master who goes beyond facilitating ceremonies? Do you take real ownership of delivery, quality, and traceability, and do you feel comfortable working in an environment with strong governance and compliance requirements? Then this is a long-term assignment where you will play a key role in the success of multiple Agile teams.

Challenges

• Take end-to-end ownership of sprint and release delivery in terms of scope, timing, and quality
• Facilitate all Agile ceremonies with a strong focus on outcomes, risks, and delivery progress
• Act as the first escalation point for impediments and delivery risks, in close collaboration with the Tech Lead and stakeholders
• Monitor and report delivery progress using dashboards, burn-downs, and delivery KPIs
• Ensure Agile discipline such as backlog hygiene, Definition of Done, and quality standards
• Guarantee full documentation and traceability between requirements, stories, defects, tests, and releases
• Coordinate and harmonize documentation input from developers, testers, and architects
• Support release readiness and handover to testing and DevOps teams
• Actively drive continuous improvement and coach teams towards delivery excellence
• Ensure compliance with internal, contractual, and regulatory standards

Wishlist (required skills)

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master in complex IT environments
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum and working within larger program or release train structures
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and/or other ALM tools
• Strong focus on documentation, traceability, and governance
• Proactive, structured, and communicative team coach
• Background as Java Developer is a big plus
